Project Case Study: The June Motel

Earlier this month The June Motel opened their new outpost in Sauble Beach. Motelers April Brown and Sarah Sklash worked with local designers to create the perfect beachy vibe and we were excited to be a part of this new getaway.

The June Motel in Sauble Beach is their second hotel and was launched after the success of their first venture in Prince Edward County. The originally reached out to us in the spring for some items and after some discussions we were tasked to outfit the rooms with our Leather Strap Shelves and a custom Hanging Clothes Rack for their main shop.

The Leather Strap Shelf was used in all the of the rooms to support the mini fridge and offer some additional shelving for the guests belongings. We typically finish these shelves with an oil, but we sprayed this batch with a urethane to offer a more contract friendly and high usage coating.

All of the shelves are our 35" size and work perfectly in this renovated motel.

The other item we made for them was for the store. Our Hanging Clothes Rack allowed them to create a pop up retail setting in the store and hang some of the wares being offered. The custom clothes rack is in White Oak and suspends with the black cord.
