Head first: a lifelong dream to make furniture is realized.

A lack of formal training and experience didn't stop Dustin Kroft from getting his first shop set up. After selling his first business and taking a night class for furniture making, KROFT studio was born and his debut collection was under way. January 16, 2016, he launches to the public at the Interior Design Show.
2019

Three years of trial and error until this.

A collection of consumer products that are sought after across the globe. Our reach has expanded and our brand becomes synonymous with quality, dependability and accessibility. Custom work starts to wane as more energy and focus get directed to our product line.
2020-2022

Covid: No stopping now

As challenging as these years were, they were a high horse for makers like us to sit on. We enjoyed the fruits of being 100% locally made and the mental vacation that accompanied a busy production line. We struggle to keep our products in stock and explore new directions with our product strategy.

Clothing Rack Takeover

One of our truly original products, the hanging clothes rack, takes the front seat in our product line and becomes the nucleus of our product strategy. Being a niche player in a saturated market helps us feel good about making work that can't be found anywhere else.
2025

A journey back to our roots.

The clothing racks get their own new face (Roddle) so we can get back to our love for solid wood products and dedicate ourselves to our handcrafted shelving. The wall shelving series gets its first design audit to make room for modularity and for more goods to be displayed on their solid wood tiers. Visit Roddle

Throughout all of this, one thing has never changed.

We just want to design and make beautiful things.

Pride in Authorship

Founder Dustin Kroft designs & crafts his work for those with the same six sense as him. Extremely sensitive to his physical environment, Kroft seeks to provide - in the form of furniture - something that can be felt rather than seen. He believes the environmentally sensitive, like him, require particular things in a particular way to feel centered. Meaningful utility can be created in a space when we surround ourselves with products that also bring us joy. Kroft's central goal is for you to experience this with his shelving products.
